I was born in 1961 in Oakland Ca. and got to see all these bands live up close and personal. Some in tiny little dive bars that only had maybe 50 to 100 people. And some in concert at venue's like Oakland's Day on the Green or Monsters of Rock, Winterland, Cow Palace, and let's not forget The Bodega in Campbell where I grew up. It was like having a party at home and your favorite band just shows up and hangs out playin' just for you. Outstanding!!!!
